	<description><![CDATA[KDE is a cross-platform graphical user environment for multiple UNIX versions that provides a desktop, development platform for applications and an office application suite. Enhancements in release 4 include: 
- KDE 4 Libraries include the Phonon multimedia framework for platform independent multimedia support to all KDE applications and the Solid hardware integration framework for easier integration with removable devices and better power management.
- KDE 4 Desktop includes the Plasma desktop shell with a new desktop interface with panels, menus and widgets on the desktop, plus KWin, the KDE Window manager, which now supports advanced graphic effects.
- KDE Application updates include Okular, the new document viewer,  and Dolphin, the new file manager.
